The Board of Directors has the power and authority to approve signs and enact rules and regulations regarding signage.  Any requests for modification of the signage regulations must be submitted in writing to the Board of Directors. Requests will be reviewed and a decision rendered within 30 days.  Written approval by the Board must be obtained prior to installation.  Any signs not conforming to covenant requirements must be removed.

                Business Identification Signs

Unit owners and/or tenants may display one sign identifying their business installed next to the door of the Unit.  A second sign may be installed with Board approval.   The sign must be the exact same size, type, color and material and displayed in the same location to match the other business signs in GTC, or to match the original signs installed by the developer (as applicable to Building 2780).  Approved signs shall be installed and maintained by the Owner in compliance with the rules and regulations of the Association.

The association does not provide or coordinate the order for a business sign, nor does it contract with or recommend a specific sign company.  It is the unit owner’s responsibility to insure that all signage meets the covenant requirements.  We highly recommend that you visually check your sign for compliance and colors before making final payment to your vendor.  Several unit owners have used the following company with success:

                  Wizard Sign Studio
                    Attn: Bob
                    770-271-2727

                Security Signs
Unit owners and/or tenants may display one professional security sign not to exceed six (6) inches by six (6) inches in size from a window within the Unit.

“For Rent” or “For Sale” Signs
Unit owners may display one professionally lettered "For Rent" or "For Sale" sign not to exceed two (2') feet by two (2') feet in size in one window within the Unit in connection with a Unit being offered for sale or for lease.
                Marketing Signage and Banners
Unless approved in writing by the Board of Directors, all real estate signs and marketing banners, including those installed in the right of way along Peachtree Industrial Boulevard are specifically prohibited.
                Exceptions
Several exceptions to the signage requirements were approved by the original Declarant, Grand Central C&D, Inc. prior to turning the property over to the association for managements.  These exceptions are matters of contract and not subject to Board approval or recall.
